Our business started with a 3.5-ton tipper to do local deliveries. We decided to extend the fleet with the purchase of a 16-ton Hiab, in order to facilitate larger deliveries, across the South West of England & further afield.
This was followed with the company’s first Concrete Mixer, lovingly known as “The Pea”. He saw an opportunity to supply a service that North Devon was in need of & so the first Concrete Boom Pump was introduced into the business.

Our business started in 2017 as SR Mini Loads, as a small venture with a 3.5-ton tipper to do local deliveries. Word of mouth, soon spread & we were doing various local deliveries in and around North Devon.
As the pace of business gathered momentum we decided to extend the fleet & create SR Mini Loads Ltd with the purchase of a 16-ton Hiab, in order to facilitate larger deliveries, across the South West of England & further afield.
Also in 2021, Scott joined the family business and added to the fleet, with the company’s first Concrete Mixer, lovingly known as “The Pea”. He saw an opportunity to supply a service that North Devon was in need of & so the first Concrete Boom Pump was introduced into the business.
The purchase of a 24 meter boom pump proved to be very popular, from providing services to pump new ICF buildings, site foundations & flooring to the repair of sea walls and much more.
As demand grew, we made the decision to invest in another pump & so the 35 meter boom pump arrived, meaning we are able to facilitate larger projects across the Southwest.
Our core service area is North Devon, including Bideford, Barnstaple, Torrington, Ilfracombe, and South Molton. However, we also regularly work across Devon, Cornwall, and Somerset, supporting clients throughout the South West.
